Word and image converge on the museum wall and the printed page in The Deeply Flawed Human (Deadly Chaps Press), by poet Nicole Callihan in collaboration with the artists Ali Printz, Lala Abbadon, Re Jin Lee, Joseph Barral, Amy Weil, Gina Magid, Michael Amendolara, Amy Williams, Mo Baretta, Amanda Field, Sanjana Nair, and Cricket Desmarais.

The poems in The Deeply Flawed Human re-imagine the poet as artist describing 30 works of art in the form of museum wall labels at a retrospective exhibition. The 12 artists were commissioned to create interpretations of the work described in Callihan's poems. The result is a meta-conversation between poet and artist, poem and art piece, printed page and exhibition presentation.
